Booth Concrete & Precast carry on the business of quarrying and processing sand and gravel, at the main plant in Abbeyleix.<\/p>\n

These materials are blended, washed, screened and processed to produce a very high quality raw material which is then used in the manufacture of ready-mix concrete, blocks, flooring and precast products delivered by our fleet of trucks.<\/p>\n

Our plant is well located to meet the needs of such towns as Abbeyleix, Portlaoise, Mountmellick, Tullamore, Kilkenny, Carlow, Castlecomer, Athy, Mountrath, Urlingford, Kildare and Monasterevin, for readymix concrete via a good local road network.<\/p>\n

We have invested heavily in training over the years and has developed a young vibrant management team which are well motivated and give \u201cdrive and flexibility\u201d which is vital in the construction supply industry.<\/p>\n

Quality is and always has been a priority with Booth Concrete & Precast which is a member of the Irish Concrete Federation and its quality assurance scheme. We have been awarded N.S.A.I. approval for the supply of concrete products to EN206-1 2002 European standard.<\/p>\n

Booth Concrete & Precast have built up a loyal customer base of builders, civil engineers, farm builders along with a lot of one off and regular customers. Repeat business is common and many customers have been loyal to us over the past 30 years.<\/p>\n

We have supplied most of the top 100 builders in Ireland at some stage and has been the supplier to many of the most prestigious developments in the region, including Midlands Hospital Portlaoise, Heritage Hotel & Country Club in Killenard, Dept. Of Agriculture Regional Offices, Midlands Prison and the O\u2019Moore Park Development.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>

We realise the value of good quality suppliers and we have built up a strong business relationship with most of the industries leading suppliers such as Breedon Cement, Emo Oil and Sika, to name but a few. We know that the supplier relationship is almost as important as that with the customer.<\/p>\n

Quality Management System<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Booth Concrete & Precast installed a state of the art concrete testing facility at the plant in 1996 where it employs a concrete technician to check the quality of all its products on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

The test facilities check the quality of all the raw materials coming in and the quality of the finished products before they are despatched to the customer.<\/p>\n

We are members of the Irish Concrete Federations Quality Assurance Scheme and have certification from the National Standards Association of Ireland, N.S.A.I.\u00a0 We produce concrete to Part1 specification, performance, production and conformity to I.S. EN206-1 2002 standard and its products are subject to on-going surveillance of the N.S.A.I. inspectors.<\/p>\n

Recently we have been accredited with the European Standard ISO-14001-2015 Environmental Management System.\u00a0 To ensure that environmental impacts are controlled and minimized and that our objectives and commitments are achieved we will maintain this Environmental Management System.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
